If the above conditions are normal, the idle speed working elements of the governor should be considered. Check whether the spring of the governor is broken, or the wear of the governor element is too much or the spring is too soft, so that the centrifugal force of the flying hammer in idle operation is far greater than the tension of the spring and the oil is reduced, or the maintenance personnel adjust improperly. The fuel injection pump assembly must be removed and re-repaired on the test bench. When checking the governor, the first adjustment should be made through idle screw, if the adjustment is ineffective, then adjust the idle spring pretension. The idle spring adjustment nut can be slightly twisted inward or gaskets can be added to the spring seat to increase the preload and idle speed.
